Market Sector Survey and Competitor Analysis. MPM &
Associates produced market research for the TVA
Services' CAD Services, Energy Services, Engineering
Services, ISO-9000 Services, and Underwater Vehicle
Inspection Services. For each sector market, sizes
and characteristics were defined and used for
strategic business planning decisions. Detailed
business opportunities were then identified to form
the basis for a rigorous marketing plan and
competitor analysis.
Innovative Ventures
Corporation. Market Survey. MPM & Associates
was tasked to develop a market study of a new
plating process that would reduce the environmental
impact of present plating systems. MPM & Associates
conducted a competitive analysis and a patent search
to determine the competition, price point, and basis
of competitor technology.
Bechtel National Incorporated.
Greenfield Development Program. MPM &
Associates designed a model to identify companies
interested in locating, or relocating, to Oak Ridge.
The model identifies companies that are candidates
for relocation based on expansion due to increased
sales. This model works for any location by
incorporating the use of local parametric provided
by Economic Development Organizations' with the
knowledge of what makes companies relocate to their
area. The model is 100% accurate in identifying
companies before public announcement of Greenfield
intentions.
Thermo-Mizer Environmental
Corporation. Market Sector Survey and
Competitor Assessment. MPM & ASSOCIATES provided
general market intelligence including size,
competition, price points, and identifiable success
factor information for continuous emission
monitoring systems, controlled environmental
facilities, and pharmaceutical manufacturing
environmental controls and similar items. The
competitor survey included data acquisition
suppliers.
Bordeaux Region Development
Agency. Economic Development Program. MPM &
Associates developed a program to identify companies
interested in Greenfield investment in the Bordeaux
Region of France. The model has been designed to
include local parametric through the identification
of "industrial centers of excellence" that focus on
local resources as a point of attraction. The model
has been 100% successful in identifying companies
before public announcement of attentions for
expansion into Europe.
Time Domain Corporation.
Market Study and Lead Generation for Product
Licensing. MPM & Associates developed a market study
to identify the "low probability of
intercept/detection” wireless communication system
developed by Time Domain. A second task includes the
continuing development of joint venture licensing
partners in the government, police, and commercial
"last mile" communications market sectors.
